I love John Cusack and I like the end of the world, so why wouldn't I like this movie?

well... I wish I would have known going into the movie that it would be a Comedy. This wasn't a great action movie, sure a lot of shit blows up and the world that you currently live in is torn apart... but the dialog of this movie really throws me off.

We got a guy who's ex and kids live with a new guy and all of the sudden shit goes wrong.. (obviously when John has the kids for the weekend) and then they meet a crazy guy (Woody) and he knows something about maps and super secret ships. OH which turn out to be ARKS, such noah and you twinsies. Then they spend the movie racing to the arks, once inside, obviously something has to go wrong, which it does. but like any hero, John saves the movie. (because he's awesome)

This movie was entertaining only being I found it to be ridiculous.

Not Recommended.

Do people not like the movie Office Space? I don't think I really want to know the answer to that... but I was pretty excited when I saw the preview for Extract, I like Kristen Wiig and I like Jason Bateman so it should be a pretty good time.... right?

oh, sooooo boring. I did not find this movie that funny, I am not a huge fan of Mila whatever and I'm guess I'm not a fan of where Mike Judge is going with his movies... I have seen a lot of movies, I like a lot of terrible movies, I hated Idiocracy and that tv show the Goode Family was so horrible... WTF Mike Judge.

This is a story about a guy who owns a extract company, he has a wife that isn't really into having sex with him, he's got new cleavage roaming around the factory and a wife who's interest in the pool boy is sparked easily. It gets serious for a moment but I don't really remember much else... it didn't leave me wanting more, I just wanted it to end basically.

ps. what the hell is that movie poster...? jesus h christ

Inglourious Basterds

Holy shit. I'm not even sure I know what to say, this movie was AWESOME, I saw it 3 times in the theater and each time was better than the last.

This might be my favorite Tarantino movie, if not #1, then a close 2nd.

This movie has everything you want, babes (brad pitt, eli roth, diane kruger), killing nazi's, blood, guts and glory. You've got Brad Pitt leading a team of Basterds in a nazi germany and killing nazi's by the boat load. Half the movie is in French, which was pretty cool.

I feel like if you missed out on this movie, then you missed out on being American.

Where the Wild Things Are

When I first heard they were making this 48 page children's book a movie I was a little confused and a little hesitant on seeing it. I don't think I had this book when I was a kid, so I'm not one of the thousands of people who were obsessed with this phenomenon, but I generally like Spike Jonze; and I wanted to see James Gandolfini as a fuzzy monster.

My friend Ryan and I saw this movie in IMAX, and it was pretty sweet, the visuals are really what kept me intrigued the whole time. Along with a overly depressed Alexander (the ram looking monster) who was often much like a friend of ours, humorous in a sad puppy kind of way.

If you're not familiar with the book or haven't seen the movie, it's about a kid who is a little jerk to his mom and runs away to an imaginary island, dressed as a wolf (of course), he encounters monsters and basically pressures them into being their king, he then dreams up a big fort and makes the monsters build it for him (like slaves basically) and then comes between a fighting monster couple. Thanks for adding a love story line to this children's story, it wasn't really needed and at some points made me feel slightly uncomfortable. Max realizes that he misses his mom and returns home leaving his monster adventures behind.

Again this movie was beautiful, I thought Catherine O'Hare was a perfect fit for her monster and James Gandolfini brought a little bit of Tony Soprano scariness to his monster.
